I’m back with yet another edition of “FACEPALM.” Last time we covered the Mattel Hyperscan, and it was pretty hard to one-up the hyperscan. I think I may have done it when I found a cheap 3DO for sale at one of our local game stores. I have a handful of decent games, and also some very bad ones.
It seems that everyone I come across seems to REALLY REALLY hate the 3DO system even after all these years. It seems to get more public hate than the 32x and the Hyperscan combined. I figured I would buy one to see what all the fuss was about, but that doesn’t cover the whole story. With some of these epic game systems, you almost have to be in that time period and in that economic situation to fully understand just how much of a facepalm disaster something may be.
While a lot of these systems may be undesirable, I feel that sometimes they are misunderstood. So I make these videos to kinda clear the air on these systems. Yes, these systems are terrible sometimes…but there’s always something positive to say about them! Even if it’s not much!
