This is part 3 of 5 of our very special “Let’s record every day” podcast thing! Today we have Mark Senger from PSnation joining us to talk about 16-bit gaming [hence the title].  We talk a little bit about SNES, Genesis, and Turbo-Grafx 16. We mention your classic favorites and also give you some must-play suggestions. We also cover modern 16-bit gaming for the Genesis that can be seen in new games like Pier Solar or translations like Beggar Prince. We even take some time to discuss the more obscure 16-bit systems like Neo Geo Pocket Color and the amazing Sega CD.

Tony and I created some promos for our show. They are all roughly the same concept, but each with a different ending. Imagine it’s a happy meal. There’s always the same burger and fries, but the toy is always different. Check out our promos.

Check us out tomorrow for our segment on “Games as Art”. It’s the episode where we throw NES carts at a wall and call it art… Actually, on second thought, I mean games like Shadow of the Colossus, Braid, Everyday Shooter, and Flower.
